A toxic colon is the main cause of food intolerance and one of the underlying causes of chronic health problems. If the organ responsible for disposing of toxic waste is not functioning properly, you cannot expect to be healthy. When it is not functioning properly due to poor diet and stressful life styles, fecal matter accumulates on the intestinal walls. This fecal matter can weigh up to 20 pounds or more. Regular bowel movements or diarrhea does not necessarily mean that your intestines are clear as stools can still be passed.
The improper functioning of the colon causes accumulation of toxic matter in the body which results in various health problems such as celiac disease, colitis, diverticulosis, candida albicans, parasites, low energy, chronic fatigue, constipation, diarrhea, food intolerances, allergies, leaky gut syndrome, fibromyalgia, bloating, blurry eyes and on and on. Cleaning your colon and your intestines is an excellent way to improve your overall health no matter what your health problems.
Enemas and colon irrigation--
I have personally used both of these methods of cleansing the colon. The colon irrigation was not fun but gave some excellent results. I lost 20 lbs.of impacted fecal matter in about three visits. Just admitting that is a little embarrassing but it is true. My health improved significantly after that.
I have since used enemas off and on for various reasons and they have also been helpful in dealing with different health problems.
This subject is beyond my ability to talk about and so I've found a Web site listed below and a book where you can find all the information or supplies you'll need.
This website is all about enemas and they sell all the products you need as well:

Psyllium Husks and Bentonite Clay--
Psyllium husks and bentonite clay is one of the simplest ways to clean the digestive system.
Mix 1 tablespoon of bentonite clay and 1 tablespoon psyllium husks with 8-10 oz of water or diluted juice. Be sure to shake and drink it immediately. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
Drink your psyllium and bentonite drinks on an empty stomach (at least one hour away from food) and at least one hour before or after taking any supplements, herbs, medications, etc.
You can start with one shake a day and gradually increase to taking 3-5 shakes a day for several weeks. For maintenance you can repeat the process a couple times a year or like me just drink one bentonite and psyllium shake a one or two times a week.
Remember to drink lots of water. In case of constipation you can use an enema to clear out released material and get things moving again.
Below you'll find a Web site that will tell you a little bit more about bentonite clay.
Hydrated Bentonite Clay -- A Priceless Gift From Mother Nature
About a year ago I stumbled across another way to cleanse the colon and intestinal tract. It is very effective, easy, affordable and fast. It's a product called Oxy-Powder. All you have to do is take several capsules right before bed each day. It does cause diarrhea and so isn't always comfortable but it only lasts seven days. I have used Oxy-Powder myself and was pleased with the results.
Other benefits for using Oxy-Powder are: One, it can help you loose a little weight by getting rid of fecal matter that has built up in your intestines; two, it will increase your energy as it increases oxygen levels in your body; and, three, it can cure constipation no matter how severe or how long you have suffered with it.
